Eggs (anywhere from 1-7 eggs at a time, depending on how many your silicone tray holds)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add 1 cup of water to the pressure cooker pot and place short trivet inside. Â Spray silicone tray with nonstick cooking spray. Crack desired number of eggs into the holes of the silicone tray. Â Place tray on top of the trivet.
Secure the lid and turn pressure release knob to a sealed position. Â Cook at high pressure for 13 – 15 minutes (see notes regarding cooking time).
When cooking is complete, use a quick release. Â
Check the eggs. Â The egg white should be completely cooked and the yellow center firm. Â
Using a soft edge knife or spoon, carefully scrape around the egg to make sure it’s not adhering to the edges, then scoop it from the tray. Â
Store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container with a wet paper towel to keep the egg whites soft for up to 5 days.
Notes
Cooking time will vary depending on the brand of silicone tray you have. Â The brand I use is Popfex and it took 15 minutes. Â For another brand I have that is made of thinner material and more flimsy, they were done in 13 minutes.
Number of eggs doesn’t seem to matter here. Â I’ve cooked anywhere from 1-7 eggs at a time with consistent results.
