Skyr Yogurt Cream Cheese Spread will likely be the healthiest thing to ever top your bagel. Sky's the limit but here's my 2 favorite flavors-Sweet Blueberry and Savory Garlic Herb!
As promised in the Instant Pot Skyr Yogurt post, here is one of my favorite ways to use Skyr – Skyr Yogurt Cream Cheese Spread! With a million possible flavor combos (strawberry vanilla, pesto, balsamic, banana walnut . . . I could go on for days) I narrowed it down to my bagel shop go tos-Blueberry for the sweet side and Garlic Herb for the savory.
When was the last time you picked up a tub of cream cheese spread and it said “FAT FREE! NO ADDITIVES! HEALTHY!” Umm, never (but if you have, do share!). Well now you can make your very own at home! And it is indeed all of those things!
First Step, you're gonna need to head back to the Skyr Yogurt post, order you some rennet, and jump on that awesome new yogurt train. After you've got your Skyr sitting in your fridge in all it's thick, luscious glory, simply mix in the extras, and you are instantly in “FAT FREE, NO ADDITIVE, HEALTHY” heaven.
Have it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or brunch. I'm also seeing serious potentials of a bagel, fruit, and Skyr Cream Cheese Spread at baby showers, wedding showers, work meetings, etc, etc. Enjoy my friends!
